Welcome to Cal Raijin Taiko, the Japanese drumming group at the University of California, Berkeley
Whew! The showcase is over! Thank you to all who came out to see us put on our very first show at the Julia
Morgan Theater last week. It was an overwhelming success that came together all so well and we hope to do
it again next year! It's been a grueling pull the past two months and you'd think we would be all taiko'ed
out by now. NOPE. Raijin Taiko never sleeps!
THIS SUNDAY, we are holding our first community workshop on Lower Upper Sproul from
1-3PM. Learn the basics of taiko and what goes into drumming hard and having fun - the way we learned it!
Right now it looks like it'll be first-come first-served basis on RSVP [email Derek at doye@berkeley.edu].
