Welcome to Cal Raijin Taiko, the Japanese drumming group at the University of California, Berkeley
Nagare, which means "to flow" in Japanese, is the title of our 2009 Spring Showcase held at Julia Morgan Theater on April 18th. Tickets for the 7PM showing will be sold on Sproul M-F 10am-2pm and T/Th 6-9 [practice] starting Monday, April 2nd. Come watch us blow the house down for the 2nd year in a row! We've got new songs that will make their debut at the show, so you'll be the first to see our fresh ideas. Celebrate the progression of Japanese taiko drumming as a developing art in North America and experience the energy of the twenty pumped up college students who have dedicated themselves all year to putting this show on for you, us, and the community!
